Welcome to our Summer Series for Creative Businesses! Taking place every Friday in July, this series is delivered in partnership with the Create Growth Programme, led by the Leicester and Leicestershire Business and Skills Partnership. Each session offers expert-led workshops and masterclasses designed to ignite new ideas and support the growth of your creative business.
Costing and Pricing
In this interactive workshop, you’ll learn how to apply different pricing approaches to the different strands of your creative business.
Begining with Cost Plus pricing, we’ll look at accurately costing your work, calculating daily rates and adding realistic mark ups.
Through Market Pricing, you’ll understand how to factor in market trends and how alternative creative businesses set their pricing strategies.
Finally, with Value Pricing, we’ll delve into how percived value, repuation and brand play a role in pricing and how to bring these three approaches to together.
We’ll also explore how to increase prices if you’re undercharging and how pricing relates to your marketing and finance plans so that you’re pricing for profit.
You’ll leave the session with clarity and confidence to price your work in a way that truely reflects your creative value.
